Following a protracted absence, the former head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers declared his return.
Jon Gruden, the former football coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is getting back into the game, but not in the way you might expect.
Gruden most recently served as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders from 2018 to 21. However, he resigned from that role after his misogynistic and homophobic texts were made public. Following that, in 2023, he became a consultant for the New Orleans Saints. However, he just stated that he is now working as a consultant for the European League of Football’s Milano Seamen.

Certainly, the position is very different from what Gruden held in 2021. Although Gruden is currently 117-112 all-time and went 57-55 with the Bucs, he won three winning seasons in six years after winning the Super Bowl in Tampa Bay. Gruden’s head coaching record overall is barely above.500.

Gruden is still suing the National Football League, claiming that the organization disclosed his email correspondence details. The Nevada Supreme Court is reviewing the lawsuit.
The third-most successful coach in Buccaneers history is Gruden. He trails only Bruce Arians, who has the greatest winning percentage in franchise history (.633), and Tony Dungy, who has a.563 winning %.
