There have reportedly been contract talks between Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams during the offseason. Those efforts seem to have paid off. Regarding their youthful head coach, the Rams have officially made their choice.

The Los Angeles Rams have formally declared that Sean McVay will remain with them through the 2026 campaign. Les Snead, the general manager, is also receiving a new contract and will remain in Los Angeles until 2026.

“Contract extensions between General Manager Les Snead and Head Coach Sean McVay have been reached, retaining two of the Rams’ most important leaders with the club through the 2026 campaign,” Stu Jackson stated, as cited by Rams.com. Since their collaboration began in 2017, Snead and McVay have contributed to Los Angeles’s two Super Bowl victories and victory in Super Bowl LVI. They have also won two NFC Championships, four NFC West division titles, and a 55-26 regular season record over the previous five years. Thus far during the Snead-McVay era, the Rams have concluded each season with a winning record.”

Even though Sean McVay is only 36 years old, he has already won a Super Bowl. His career is still very much in front of him.

On Thursday night against the Bills, the Rams will attempt to make a big impression to start the 2022 season.
