Jayson Tatum has up his mind to leaving due to setback of the team.
Boston — In the final moments of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Celtics Coach Ime Udoka decided to bench his starting lineup. Jayson Tatum was therefore given a minute to sit by himself and process the disappointment of losing.
Tatum expressed pain. “Being in this group, overcoming obstacles throughout the season, and arriving at this point. merely realizing how much we desired it and falling short. It’s an awful sensation.
As he spoke, he bowed his head and fixed his gaze on the table behind him.
Just a short while prior, Tatum had to bear the humiliation of witnessing Golden State, a different team, rejoice over capturing a championship on his court. After graciously congratulating his rivals, he left with a His face was expressionless. Tatum did not even flinch when a fan reached down from the stands and took the towel off his shoulders.
Throughout the finals, he had not played at his peak, frequently being guarded by Andrew Wiggins of Golden State. Tatum finished with just 13 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, and 5 turnovers in the game that decided the outcome. It ended a trying run of games in which he was unable to establish an offensive rhythm. He is a key component of Boston’s youthful core at the age of 24, and this might have been his big break.

June 1st Tatum told the media in a press conference the day before the finals started that he wanted to be genuine.
He admitted that there have been moments when he has wondered if he is the right person to be leading a group of people in this way. “You know, shortly after some of those defeats and the most difficult periods of the season, but never, like, doubted myself. It is normal for people to have self-examination issues.
“Always stick to what you believe in and trust in the work that you’ve put in,” he advised.
He continued after that.
“It can’t rain forever, you know.”
The Celtics had a rough start to the season, dropping their first two games and then 19 more by the beginning of January. They ranged in age from 18 to 21.
Seemed destined for an early-season layoff. But under Tatum’s leadership, they made a change. They seized the second seed in the East after roaring through the second half of the season.
