Once again the Falcons has done a great deal by signing him…

The Atlanta Falcons announced they have signed cornerback Harrison Hand on Tuesday. Hand was chosen in the fifth round of the 2020 draft out of Temple by the Minnesota Vikings. In his first season, he played in 14 games, splitting time between special teams and situational defensive snaps. Since joining the league, Hand has played for the Vikings, New York Giants and Chicago Bears.

In a matching move, undrafted free agent Anthony Sao was released. As special teams becomes a much louder part of the game with the new kickoff rules, finding good players in that phase is becoming that much more important.

In his short three-year career, Hand has gathered 34 tackles (28 solo), one forced fumble, four pass deflections and an interception.
