Another incredibly fantastic acquisition has just been announced by the head coach of Detroit Lions football

Allen Park — This season, we transferred the mailbag to the podcast, which I have really loved. But the Detroit Lions are in the NFC Championship Game, so now seems like a good time to dust this out. There were a lot of fantastic questions on where the Lions go next with their roster and coaching staff, and I have a press conference to get to — hectic times! — So, without further ado…cornerback and edge rusher. Edge rusher and cornerback. Put them in any sequence you like, but there is no greater necessity than in those two spots. This makes the Lions’ current performance, allowing only 21 points per game in their last six games, all the more impressive. Matthew Stafford is Matthew Stafford, and they kept him out of the end zone in the second half of the wild-card game. Mike Evans joined a long list of WR1s who scored last week, but the Lions forced two turnovers and never trailed against Tampa. Heck, they have yet to trail in the playoffs. Having said that, the need for more cornerbacks is evident after what Mike Evans did last week.
