The tragic news that Northern Suburbs Women captain Bernadette Olesia passed away on Tuesday morning at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital has left the Kenyan rugby community in shock. Dennis Mwanja’s Kenya Lionesses side, which placed second at the Rugby Africa Womens’ Cup in 2023 in May of this year, included Olieisa as a crucial player.
