The Colorado Buffaloes have initiated another potential move to sign their division rival’s most insanely overrated player.

The most ridiculously overrated player in their division rival’s lineup is being pursued by the Colorado Buffaloes in yet another possible signing.

Dylan Edwards looked for his next school without delay. The former ESPN Top 150 athlete recently gave On3’s Hayes Fawcett access to a list of his top six. Apart from one school, which just so happened to be CU’s most loathed opponent, there were no significant surprises.

As for the so-called “main schools,” Edwards lists Ole Miss, UCLA, Texas A&M, Georgia, Kansas State, and Nebraska. On the Buffs’ schedule for this season, the last two are opponents. All but Nebraska are either strong contenders or provide the rusher a more favorable circumstance than Colorado has at the moment. But the sixsome begs a lot of questions about possible developments involving Deion Sanders and the Buffs.

Edwards was destined to be a key component in Pat Shumur’s attack, having just finished his rookie track and field season in Boulder. Remember that since he was nine years old, Sanders has known the former Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year. This wasn’t just another competitor brought in.

Edwards declared, “I’m playing way more receiver this year,” just before stepping through the portal. “I provide additional energy to our attack. Although I am in the running back room, I don’t consider myself to be a receiver or a running back. I simply pose a danger to the defense on all fronts.

It’s no secret that Shurmur wants Shedeur Sanders to be the offensive leader. Edwards was only going to assume a larger and more established hybrid role. So, aside from people or overall vision, what makes Boulder so distinct from other places? Edwards’s current circumstances may have a significant impact on his follow-up.

“I’ve also made an effort to take the lead more often in the running back room. Edwards uttered, “I want more.” “I want to win, so you’ll see me being a little feisty and furious at others when they don’t do their tasks and stuff like that. That is my primary concern.

Edwards departs with fellow running backs Sy’veon Wilkerson and Alton McCaskill, who were regarded as the Buffs’ top picks. With Ohio State’s Dallan Hayden visiting Boulder and a few other running backs on the roster making appearances, the three saw the writing on the wall. Not to mention, Micah Welch, a freshman, has impressed Sanders and the coaching staff greatly.

At his next trip, Edwards will have three years remaining on his eligibility. When all is said and done, he will probably return to his native state.
