Miller was a two-year player for the Texas A&M University-Commerce Lion football team, where he played wide receiver. He captained the team in 2023.

The unexpected death of Keith left us devastated, according to Texas A&M University-Commerce head coach Clint Dolezel. “Keith was a cherished student-athlete, teammate, parent, and son. We send our sincere condolences and sincerest sympathy to his friends, teammates, family, and everyone he loved during this extremely trying time.”
