Isaiah Rodgers, a cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles, was reinstated on Tuesday after serving a suspension from the NFL for gambling violations last season.
Rodgers, 26, has been cleared by the league to resume team activities with immediate effect.
Two months after the Indianapolis Colts waived Rodgers, in August 2023, the Eagles signed him. Shortly after Rodgers and two other Colts players were suspended indefinitely by the NFL for wagering on NFL games during the previous season, the Colts released him.

Calvin Ridley, a receiver, was the first of at least 12 players to earn a gambling suspension, which lasted the whole 2022 season. He is currently a player with the Jacksonville Jaguars after being reinstated in March. Four Detroit Lions players and five other players received suspensions in April of last year for gambling offenses.
Ten starts in 45 career games have been made by fourth-year player Rodgers, who was selected from UMass in the sixth round of the draft. In 2021, he had three interceptions.
