Heartbreak news:The head coach of blue jays officially announced her leaving due to coming back of an all time player.

Nashville, Tennessee — Blue Jays manager John Schneider has had a busy off-season, reflecting on his first full season in the post while also moving forward as swiftly as possible.

In the aftermath of that heartbreaking, bleep-show playoff defeat to the Twins, he has made adjustments to his coaching staff, both in terms of people and assignment, as well as some mending of fences and a focus on messaging.

To that end, Schneider detailed his feelings on Jose Berrios’ contentious removal in the 2-0 Game 2 loss in Minnesota that ended his team’s season, accepting responsibility for a decision that smacked of front-office meddling. “I reflected on a lot of stuff, with staff, with front office, with players especially, and kind of landed in a really comfortable spot with everybody,” Schneider said at the Winter Meetings here this week. “First and foremost, all decisions made in real time are mine. I believe that one received a little extra attention due to the enormity of the game and Jose’s pitching.

“Going forward, me being better in those times to pivot if I need to.” While not precisely closing the door on one of the worst moments in recent club history, it was an attempt to move on, which was clearly the best option for everyone concerned. We may never know if Schneider truly believes those words, and it probably doesn’t matter. However, getting it out there was a crucial message for the players he oversees, even if many of them may not fully accept the notion that the front office has no more say in choices than Schneider felt compelled to convey.
