Following rumors of Jan van Halst’s impending resignation from the club’s supervisory board, Ajax made the announcement on Tuesday. The club declared that upon the expiration of his temporary CEO term, he will resign from the organization.
Van Gaal declared his intention to support his old team on the team’s official website: “I want to help Ajax.” I currently reside in Portugal for a significant portion of the year, which works well with my work as an external advisor.
“I am ready to share my expertise in football with the Supervisory Board, particularly with the appointment of Leo van Wijk and Michael van Praag. Each of us must do our part to help the other climb back to the top via athletics.
