Heartbreaking news: The San Antonio Spurs head coach, Gregg Popovich, has been suspended after she proved that all mens should…

Gregg Popovich, the head coach, is an objective observer. Even if the truth hurts, he will tell you how it is.

This normally applies to the media and his players, but Popovich was not amused by the way home fans behaved last night. Thus, Popovich called them out in the middle of the game—something he can only do.

When Kawhi Leonard touched the ball during the Spurs’ game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the crowd would jeer him. After playing for San Antonio for the first seven years of his career, Leonard was a key member of the team that won the 2014 NBA Finals Larry O’Brien Trophy.

But Leonard’s time with the team did not end amicably because he asked the team for a move.

Spurs supporters were jeering him as a result, but Popovich corrected them.

He spoke over the microphone, “Pardon me for a moment.” “Will you please quit booing these men and let them play? It’s not who we are, and it has no class. Put an end to the jeers.”

After the game, Popovich was questioned about his impromptu performance as well.

He retorted, according to The Associated Press, “Anybody that knows anything about sports knows you don’t poke the bear.” “That’s my answer.”

Whether the booing was intentional or not, Popovich has witnessed Leonard’s talent for scoring over the years, and the bear was undoubtedly out for the visitors while they were on the court. With a game-high 26 points, Leonard helped the Clippers defeat the Lakers 109-102, improving their record to 6-7 overall.

After the game, Leonard also said that the birds in the seats did not upset him.

“If I don’t have a Spurs jersey on, they are probably going to boo me for the rest of my career,” Leonard stated. “It is what it is, really. They are fiercely competitive and among the greatest fans in the league. They’re going to demonstrate their intentions to pursue the opposing side as soon as I go onto this basketball floor. They express affection to me when I enter restaurants or go down the street. It is what it is, really.”

Popovich demonstrated his unwavering loyalty to both his present and former players, despite Leonard’s departure from the black and silver uniform.
