Good news: A former england lionesses player Luis Rubiales anounced her coming back to lionesses.

After kissing Jenni Hermoso of Spain following the nation’s victory in the women’s World Cup, Rubiales announced his resignation as president of the Spanish Football Federation.

Hermoso, 33, filed a legal complaint last Tuesday, claiming that the kiss was not consenting.

“Everybody’s fought and we fought as a women’s football group,” Stanway added.

“We battled as staff, players, and journalists to ensure that the result was what it was.

“The result is obviously what we wanted. However, we would prefer for this to be the beginning of anything as opposed to its conclusion.

“We want to continue to be able to have these conversations, to feel comfortable to have these conversations, feel comfortable in your workplace, to be able to stand up for whatever you think is right.”

Luis Rubiales leaves his position as Spanish FA president due to Jenni Hermoso kisses Rubales’ resignation, marking the women’s team victory for Spain.
The kiss that rocked world football and Spain
The aftermath of the kiss has consumed Spanish football in recent weeks and cast a cloud on Spain’s victory over England in the World Cup last month.

Fifa, the body that oversees world football, suspended Rubiales, although he had refused to step down before doing so at last.

In the midst of the debate, England manager Sarina Wiegman dedicated her most recent Uefa Women’s Coach of the Year trophy to Spain.

During Rubiales’ tenure, 81 players from Spain, including all 23 World Cup winners, declared they would not play for the national team ever again.

Considered a close ally of Rubiales, World Cup-winning manager Jorge Vilda was fired on September 5th during the scandal, and Montse Tome was appointed as his replacement.

“I know as a group of Lionesses and I know as a group at Bayern, we will continue to fight for what we believe is right,” said Stanway, a midfielder for Bayern Munich. We will not back down from our opinions even if others choose not to join us.

“We have a resolution, but this is only the start of something that could end up being potentially very, very positive for the women’s game.”
