Whyte joined Hamilton in 2019 after being selected by the Tiger-Cats with the 67th overall pick in the eighth round of the CFL Draft. Throughout the course of the Hamilton regular season, he has participated in 50 games and recorded 13 special teams tackles.
He participated in every game during the previous season, including their one playoff game and three successful special teams tackles. Whyte was suspended before to the 2019 season so that he may attend St. Francis Xavier University, but he still made it to Tiger-Cats training camp. In 2021, he played his first game in the CFL against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
This past season, Sartor started six games at right tackle for the Tiger-Cats. During the course of five seasons, he made 24 starts while playing collegiately for Marshall. In May, Hamilton brought in the 6-foot-7, 315-pound lineman to bolster the offensive line’s depth.
