Breaking news: Two players and the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens team have announced their departures due to the comeback of…

One of the team’s leaders answered several questions regarding the offensive line during a far more subdued Annual League Meeting for Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh than it was the previous year. Furthermore, Harbaugh displayed no signs of concern in developing the blocking unit for 2024 despite losing three of their starters—two of whom left in free agency and signed with other teams—and dealing right tackle Morgan Moses to the New York Jets.

“We want to be better than we were last year, so I expect it to be better than last year,” Harbaugh stated. “I think Joe D’Alesandris, our offensive line coach, has done a fantastic job leading the offensive line, and having Joe on staff is a huge plus.” Ronnie Stanley, a left tackle, was able to return for us.

I’m thrilled about that, too. Regaining Ronnie’s shape in terms of strength and health will be very beneficial to us. I believe that Tyler Linderbaum is the finest center in the National Football League. We also need to identify the next generation of males. We have men on staff. We have signed free agents; therefore, I’m sure our offensive line will be excellent.

One of such men is Andrew Vorhees, who was selected by the Ravens in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft (with pick No. 229 overall). Due to an ACL tear sustained during the NFL Scouting Combine, Vorhees was unable to progress far in the draft. Harbaugh declared that when activities go back up this offseason, he will be well and fully participating.

“He is all fired up. When we return from the summer, he’ll be fully functional,” Harbaugh stated.

This is consistent with Vorhees’ remarks to Ryan Mink of Baltimoreravens.com, in which he states he is ready to start playing once more.

“I’m more powerful than ever,” Vorhees declared. “It’s just marking off days on the calendar in order to prepare for OTAs.”

Daniel Faalele, a 6-foot-8, 380-pound player, is a candidate to start at right tackle, another starting position that might be taken by a player currently on the roster. Harbaugh revealed that instead of looking to the interior, he wants Faalele to scan the competition at right tackle.

“Let’s concentrate on tackle for the time being,” Harbaugh stated. “Let’s try to get that tackle thing right and give him a chance to get the job.”

Commentators are worried about the recent losses from the Ravens offensive line. After the unit delivered the best rushing stats in 2023, it is reasonable to express some anxiety. However, there is enough depth to cover for the absences, keep Lamar Jackson safe, and create space for rookie running back Derrick Henry to decline.
