Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is not in danger of losing his job despite a dismal season and repeated demands from a sour section of the fan base on Twitter.

Still, he’s one of the select few coaches who can make that claim. This is the time of year when a large number of successful coaches leave in large numbers; I used to call it the “NBA Layoffs.” Additionally, it appears that more and more instructors are being let go each year, and those who remain have increasingly impressive resumes.

Kerr addressed this topic in a Tuesday media appearance. He stated that signing a new contract is more important than paying attention to his own contract, which is still valid for another year.

Bob Myers, general manager Although Kerr did not disclose any specifics of his contract, he was forthright about the situation and emphasized his wish to be a long-term member of the Warriors. Kerr declared firmly that he had “never seen the league like this,” in light of the numerous head coaches that have been sacked in the previous few days and weeks.

“This summer, our organization has a lot to sort through,” Kerr replied when asked if he has begun contract negotiations. Furthermore, my contract position shouldn’t be the first thing on the list. Bob’s contract status is currently the most important one because it affects many of the player decisions that need to be made, including contracts, draft selections, and free agency. I’m not in a rush, so we can get to my stuff whenever that happens. In addition to loving these athletes and the Warriors, I also adore living in the Bay and coaching. I play in the NBA, though. All you need to do to see the next Hall of Fame coach is to glance at your phone every day.

dismissed. The league has never looked like this to me. I therefore don’t pretend to have a lifetime job here or something similar. However, I enjoy what I do, so I plan to continue coaching here for a very long time. We’ll see, though; you never know how things will turn out.
