The women’s West Virginia basketball head coach has just announced another unexpectedly great signing.

The head coach of West Virginia’s women’s basketball team has recently revealed another surprisingly excellent addition.

Mark Kellogg, the basketball coach at Drake, was chosen by West Virginia on Sunday to help the Mountaineers get past one of the worst seasons in school history.

Wren Baker, athletic director, said that Mark Kellogg had inked a five-year deal. The deal’s terms were not made public. Three days after Drake was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament following a first-round defeat to Washington State, Mark Kellogg was hired.

“Coach Mark Kellogg possesses all the qualities we desired in the next leader of our men’s basketball program. He is not only a phenomenal basketball coach but also an even better person,” said Baker. His teams are effective on both sides of the court and play with hustle and intelligence. He has shown himself to be an effective player developer and recruiter, but more significantly, he is a morally-driven leader who helps the young men he mentors grow into good men.

Coach of the year twice in the Missouri Valley Conference goes to 48-year-old DeVries. In six seasons, he had a 150-55 record and led Drake to three March Madness appearances. For four consecutive seasons, Drake won at least 25 games. After finishing 28-7 this season, the Bulldogs tied a school record for victories.
