The head coach of Fullham announced to the players that he was bringing in an all-time player after transactions were closed.
Al Hilal’s interest in Fulham’s leading scorer from the previous campaign, Aleksandr Mitrovic, has caused a rift between the two players, who unwillingly boarded their plane to the United States for preseason play.
As they are in a training camp in Austria, Al Ahly, who are trying to sign Riyad Mahrez and Allan Saint-Maximin to play alongside Roberto Firmino, are looking for a prompt response.
The offer is being made by Marco Silva’s representatives through the sovereign wealth fund, and they are in London for negotiations with Saudi authorities. Al Ahly is willing to pay the £6 million release clause on the Portuguese player.

Silva has one year left on his current contract when Fulham offered him a new one earlier this summer, but as things stand, he would find it impossible to accept the offer.
Earlier this summer, Silva rejected a £35 million offer from Al Hilal.
However, Mitrovic’s troubles with Fulham do not end there. After receiving a £52 million price tag, the striker informed his family that he would never play for the Premier League team again.
Agent Pini Zahavi and PFA representatives persuaded Mitrovic, who was on the verge of skipping the club tour of America, to accompany the team as they travel to the US on Thursday.
Nonetheless, it’s known that Mitrovic is upset about being priced out of a move after Al Hilal made two unsuccessful attempts to acquire him.

After being contacted by Sky Sports News, Fulham declined to comment.
The Serbian international Mitrovic helped Fulham place in the top half of the Premier League last season with 14 goals in the league.
The west London team made two successful trips back to the top division from the Championship thanks in large part to Mitrovic’s goals.
In February 2018, the forward went on loan to Fulham, and a month later, he signed a permanent deal worth about £25 million.
