Breaking Unbelievable News Now, The Phoenix Suns former head coach and two players have announced their return to the team.

Amazing Breaking News Right now, Two players and the previous head coach of the Phoenix Suns have declared their intention to rejoin the team.

Head coach Monty Williams of the Phoenix Suns has decided to part ways with him after four years of employment.

48 hours after their humiliating Game 6 loss to the Denver Nuggets, the team made their decision. In consecutive years, Phoenix was eliminated in the second round after each series concluded in a humiliating manner at home.

General manager James Jones characterized the decision as challenging, while owner Mat Ishbia thought it was time to move on.

In a Suns statement, Jones stated, “Monty has been foundational to our success over the past four seasons.” “We are incredibly appreciative of all that Monty has done for the Suns and the Valley community.

“Even though this was a tough decision for me to make, I’m excited to keep working to create a championship team.”

The franchise is now looking for a new head coach, and according to NBA insider Chris Haynes, they have three options on their short list: Kevin Young, Mike Budenholzer, and Nick Nurse.

In a subsequent tweet, Haynes states that since Phoenix is one of the top positions in the market, the pool of potential candidates will grow. New head coaches are also being sought by the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.

Young, who began his career with the Suns as an assistant in 2020, was promoted to associate head coach in 2021. He was an assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers for four years before moving to Phoenix. Three NBA G League teams are among the teams he has coached as head coach.

This was said about Young in an ESPN story from last offseason that highlighted possible coaches to watch:

In terms of alignment, Kevin Young, the assistant head coach of the Suns, is a perfect fit. Young is regarded by head coach Monty Williams and the basketball operations team of the Suns as a vital hub for idea sharing inside the club. For a young coach who is a natural communicator and listener, it makes sense. Young gained experience as an organizer and strategic thinker throughout his six seasons as head coach of the G League.

“His honesty and hard work ethic have won him the respect of the players. His sharpness impressed them when he was a finalist for the Washington position last spring.”

Despite their separate championships, Budenholzer and Nurse have very different personalities. Many people think Budenholzer and Williams are similar in that they are both unable to make adjustments during a game, and Nurse was infamous for occasionally coaching his team too harshly.

Nevertheless, both managed to lead their teams to championships—something Williams came close to doing several times but was never able to pull off.

As previously stated, more individuals are anticipated to be considered for Phoenix. However, these are the three names that first come to mind.
