Sad news : I’ll leave the team if he’s not fired said the head coach of leakers….

On the opening day of NBA free agency on Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers made a few changes. They signed contracts with Gabe Vincent, Cam Reddish, and Taurean Prince—three reliable free agents—and kept Rui Hachimura, but they lost Dennis Schroder.

Austin Reaves is reportedly being offered a four-year, $52 million contract by the Lakers as well. The guard, who went undrafted, rose to prominence over the last two seasons and may have greater offers elsewhere.

According to ESPN, Hachimura, 25, will agree to a three-year, $51 million contract to stay a member of the Purple & Gold. In the meanwhile, Schroder consented to a two-year, $26 million contract with the Toronto Raptors.

The 27-year-old Vincent allegedly turned down a four-year, $34 million contract with the Miami Heat in favor of a three-year, $33 million agreement to play next to LeBron James.

Reddish, 23, will sign a two-year contract with the team, while Prince, 29, agreed to a one-year, $4.5 million deal.

Unrestricted free agency center Brook Lopez, who has become as one of the top players at his position during the previous few seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, is supposedly another player who the Lakers are interested in signing.

The 35-year-old Lopez was a member of the Lakers’ roster during their rebuilding season in 2018 and has the potential to be a vital component of their championship hopes.

He can stretch the floor offensively and guard the paint well, and he is a reliable three-point shooter.

One day after they released Malik Beasley and Mo Bamba, the Lakers announced their entire roster of moves made in the first 24 hours of NBA free agency.
