Unbelievable, The Giants has just announced the return of their former head coach Tom Coughlin

Despite leaving his position as coach of the New York Giants, Tom Coughlin has stated that he is “not done with coaching”.

Following the Giants’ 35-30 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Coughlin declared he will be resigning from his 12-year position with immediate effect.

However, the 69-year-old responded, “I’m not necessarily done with coaching,” when asked if he would be retiring. I really appreciate you asking.”

With a 6-10 record at the end of the season, the Giants’ disappointing campaign came to an end with the loss to the Eagles.

Though the Giants’ 2015 season was marred by a run of close losses, Coughlin—who won two Super Bowl titles while leading the team—showed he still had the will to go on.
“I would have been in [co-owner] John Mara’s and [co-owner] Steve Tisch’s] offices if this had been 7-9,” he continued. How can you be uncompetitive and lose six games in thirty seconds?”

Nevertheless, Mara, who held Coughlin in the highest regard and acknowledged his debt to him, thought it was time for a change.

He is both a coach and a person in the Hall of Fame. He says, ‘He leaves large shoes to fill.

While Mara agreed that the Giants needed to make personnel improvements, especially defensively, she decided to keep general manager Jerry Reese on board and start the hiring process for a new coach.
