Heartbreak report: Yadier Molina is suspended due to the serious catastrophic…

In the Enterprise Center, hockey is usually just a swirl of blue and white on the ice, but if you spot a pair of skates flashing as the puck goes into the net, it’s likely that Robert Thomas owns them. Thomas, who had a breakout season last year with 20 goals in all during his time on the ice, cemented his status as the Blues’ finest prospect going forward. The forward, who was born in Canada, has recently signed an eight-year contract. With his skillful shooting and keen sense of puck placement, he is a vital member of both the offensive and defensive units.

Doug Armstrong, general manager, likened the signing of him to a long-term contract to the agreements he had obtained with Alex Pietrangelo and Vladimir Tarasenko. Let’s hope Thomas helps the squad win the Stanley Cup as well. —Jenna Jones
