It’s Heartbreaking: A very loyal Tampa Buccaneers player has announced his sudden retirement, sending a powerful statement and bidding the team and supporters

NFL Legend of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Announces Retirement
Ryan Jensen will no longer be snapping the ball at Raymond James Stadium, but his revolutionary influence on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization will endure for many years to come.

It’s official—one of the best offensive linemen in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history has ended his playing career.
After being chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round out of Colorado State University-Pueblo, Ryan Jensen made his NFL debut in 2013.

It wasn’t until 2017 that Jensen started playing regularly for the Ravens, where he performed admirably right away, starting all 16 games at center.

In 2018, Jensen signed a four-year, $42 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent. The Bucs’ supporters quickly came to value Jensen’s tough, physically demanding style of play on the field.

Jensen was much more than just a bully on the field, even though he may be best known for roughhousing opponents, playing through the whistle, and diving to the aid of his quarterbacks.

He was a very strong and versatile center who could hold his own against some of the best interior defensive linemen in the league and open lanes for his running backs.

In the end, Jensen contributed to changing the Buccaneers’ culture. When it came to persevering through injuries, he was an unwavering competitor and a true warrior. Jensen was a Buccaneers offensive player for 3,726 consecutive snaps at one point.

But it went beyond how he performed on the field. As a leader, Jensen was trusted as soon as he got to Tampa. All of the team’s players, not just his O-line teammates, looked to big red to set the tone. And he carried out that exact action.
