It’s extremely difficult to accept, but he must resign from the contracts because of his wife’s harsh comment against the Okc thunders head coach.
The Milwaukee Bucks announced on Tuesday that they have decided to part ways with head coach Adrian Griffin in an unexpected development.
A Seton Hall graduate, Griffin was just 43 games into his head coaching career with the Bucks, who at the time had the second-best record (30-13) in the Eastern Conference.
The 49-year-old native of Wichita, Kansas, led the squad to victory in 25 of the following 34 games following a 5-4 start.
Griffin has been unable to address the defensive problems facing the squad, even though he has won 70% of his games. The Bucks, who have already lost three of their previous four games and have the eighth-worst defensive rating in the NBA (116.8), are just passed the halfway point of the regular season.

After making his NBA debut in 1999 with the Boston Celtics, Griffin played with the Seattle SuperSonics until 2008, the final season before the team relocated and changed its name to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After retiring, Griffin immediately entered the coaching field. From 2008 to 2023, he served as an assistant coach for the Bucks, Bulls, Magic, Thunder, and Raptors. In June of last year, he was named Milwaukee’s head coach.
