Positive updates: SA Rugby Forma’s head coach has announced his comeback.

It has been confirmed by South Africa that Rassie Erasmus, who rejoined Leinster following his victory in the Rugby World Cup in France, will take over as head coach until 2027. As director of rugby, Erasmus oversaw the 2019 victory and continued to be very much a part of the team. As defensive coach, Jerry Flannery is joining the Springboks after leaving the Harlequins.

After guaranteeing Rassie Eramus’ return, South Africa has appointed a new head coach following their victory in the Rugby World Cup.
Jacques Nienaber, who led the Springboks to a victorious title defense in France last autumn, has been replaced by him at Leinster.
After taking up the post of director of rugby, Erasmus continued to be actively involved in the setup and guided the squad to victory at the 2019 World Cup.

The 51-year-old has a contract that runs through the next competition in 2027. He was recently admitted to the hospital after suffering severe chemical burns in what was called a “freak accident.”
Jerry Flannery, the defense coach for the Harlequins, has been added by Erasmus to his backroom staff. Later this month, the former Ireland flanker will depart from the Gallagher Premiership team.
The attack will be led by former New Zealand fly-half Tony Brown, while recently retired referee Jaco Peyper will provide commentary on the rules of the game.
After assisting the Springboks in retaining the world title, Duane Vermeulen announced his retirement today. He will now serve as a “roving” coach for all of the national teams.
“Coaching the Springboks is a huge honor, and I appreciate the faith you have in me,” Erasmus remarked.
“I will be more hands-on at the field sessions, which is the main difference between this season and the previous four.”It should be a smooth transition for me to return to the head coach position because during the last four years, in my capacity as Director of Rugby, I continued to supervise the team structures and strategies alongside Jacques and the other coaches.
“This week at the hospital, we had our first coaching session, and it’s encouraging to see how excited the coaches are to start the season.”
In the fourth World Cup England, South Africa holds off a 14-man New Zealand team to win a record four times. After eight years, international Ludlam will depart from the Northampton Saints
According to Borthwick, England appeared to be a team that had “only three training sessions together.”
Known for his cunning and outspoken demeanor, Erasmus received a one-year matchday penalty for sharing a video that detailed a referee’s mistreatment of the British & Irish Lions in 2021.
In July, he will take control of his debut two-game series against Ireland.
