Good updates: The forma head coach of New York knicks announced his return…
The Toronto Raptors await the New York Knicks as they return to the road following a productive two-game home stand. With a 43-28 record, Jalen Brunson and company are now ranked fourth in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks are hoping to end the season well before the playoffs begin, with just 11 games left in the regular season. Sadly, though, a number of its stars—including Julius Randle and OG Anunoby—are sidelined by injuries.
Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau provided a significant update regarding Forward OG Anunoby amid injury worries, which may exacerbate New York’s issues. Anunoby’s right elbow ailment has kept him out of the lineup for the past five games. He has recovered rather well after his conditioning work prior to tonight’s game. Coach Thibs will not, however, provide a timetable for the 26-year-old’s comeback. Regarding OG’s anticipated comeback, Thibodeau said, “No, just allowing it to calm down, and each day it’s a little better, but be patient, get through it.”
Tonight will mark Anunoby’s sixth straight absence off the field, and it is still unclear when he will be available to play. After having elbow surgery, OG made a hopeful comeback on March 12 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Sadly, two games after surgery, the Knicks star’s surgically repaired elbow deteriorated once more, necessitating his withdrawal. The Knicks need Anunoby back in the starting lineup because of their improved play when their shooting guard is on the court. This season, Jalen Brunson and company are 15-2 against Anunoby.
