Due to a devastating problem, the Melbourne storm most talented key player would terminate his contract.
Josh Schuster, who is extremely talented, has a three-year contract extension confirmed by the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles today.
Schuster will play for the Sea Eagles in the NRL until the end of the 2027 season, after his contract expires at the end of the following year.
Since making his NRL debut for Manly in 2020, the 22-year-old has participated in 43 games for the Sea Eagles.
After completing the Sea Eagles Pathways Academy since he was fourteen, Schuster has a deep love for the Manly Sea Eagles, according to coach Anthony Seibold.
“Josh signed a long-term contract with our club for less money than he could have gotten elsewhere and for less than his current contract, demonstrating his commitment to playing his best football in a Sea Eagles jersey,” Seibold said.
This, in my opinion, demonstrates his dedication to his teammates and team.
Josh still has his best football ahead of him, and we’re excited to watch him mature into a reliable, productive NRL player.
Schuster claimed to be quite content with the Sea Eagles.
Although I am aware that there will always be rumors in the media regarding player salaries, the truth is that I am staying here for less than what I was offered elsewhere and less than my current contract, which was set to expire in 2024.

“I have bought into what ‘Seibs’ is trying to do at the Club now and in the future, and I want to be a part of a successful Manly team going forward,” the player said.
“In my opinion, he is being creative, and it is clear that he wants to build a team that values players more than just their stats.
“There is a good opportunity for me to keep learning from great role models like Daly Cherry-Evans, Jake, and Tom Trbojevic.”
Schuster’s re-signing comes after the exciting young center Tolu Koula’s three-year contract was extended at the end of the 2024 campaign.
The Sea Eagles also signed center Tommy Talau for two years, winger Jaxson Paulo for three, and halfback Luke Brooks for four years on Monday.
