There are the highest number of players in St. Kilda who are 4, 24, 34, 39, 42, 52, 60, and 63.
Chris Toce, a former recruiter for St Kilda and Collingwood, has joined the list management team at Richmond after leaving the Saints at the end of 2023.
After Matt Clarke, the national recruitment manager, recently moved to the West Coast, Toce joins Punt Road and brings a wealth of experience to Tigerland.
Toce has over ten years of experience in the recruiting game. He began his career with Collingwood in 2010 and moved to Moorabbin five years later. Most recently, Toce assisted in the recruitment of some of the Saints’ emerging young stars as well as mature-aged talent from across the nation.
After joining Richmond, he released a club statement saying, “Thanks to Blair Hartley and Tim Livingstone for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.”
“I am excited to collaborate with our recruitment team and contribute to the pool of talent already at the door.”
Toce joins the Tigers at a pivotal time, as newly appointed head coach Adem Yze has assembled a roster that features both established players and promising young players.
Toce will provide the necessary experience to help the Tigers’ roster in the future, according to football manager Balir Hartely.
Chris “has a proven track record of working across the country to identify talent and extensive experience,” according to Hartley.
We are excited to have him join our recruiting team and the larger football department because he is a great guy with a strong work ethic. He’ll support us in enhancing the talent that joins our Club.
“We are happy to welcome Chris and his family to the Richmond Football Club and are glad to have him on board.”
In a four-round draft count, the Tigers would have selections 4, 24, 34, 39, 42, 52, 60, 63, and 72 based on the current standings of the competition.
