The Seattle Mariners head coach has been suspended due to a misunderstanding, which is unbelievable news for the brave fans.

The courageous fans are shocked to learn that the head coach of the Seattle Mariners has been suspended because of a misunderstanding.

Seattle (AP) In response to Steve Clevenger’s comments against the Black Lives Matter movement and a recent police shooting in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Seattle Mariners suspended the reserve catcher for the remainder of the season without pay on Friday.

General manager Jerry Dipoto said in a statement, “As soon as we became aware of the tweets posted by Steve yesterday, we began to examine all of our options in regard to his standing on the team.”

Clevenger was notified of the suspension on Friday, according to Dipoto.

On Thursday night, Clevenger’s Twitter account was set to private. Clevenger disparaged demonstrators and President Barack Obama in screenshots of his tweets, saying things like “everyone involved should be locked behind bars like animals!”

Clevenger apologized for “the distraction my tweets on my personal Twitter page caused when they went public earlier today” in a late-night statement to Fox Sports on Thursday.

Clevenger went on, “I am sickened by the idea that anyone would think of me in racist terms.” “My tweets were reactionary to the events I saw on the news and were worded beyond poorly at best, and I can see how and why someone could read into my tweets far more deeply than how I actually feel.”

This season, Clevenger made 22 appearances for the Mariners. On June 30, he was listed as incapacitated due to a fractured hand.
