Luton Town’s most talented players are down due to the catastrophic injury they suffered in their effort to beat Tottenham.

Due to their severe injuries, Luton Town‘s most gifted players are unable to compete against Tottenham.

Prior to their match against Tottenham on Saturday, Rob Edwards, the manager of Luton Town, disclosed the severity of his team’s injury situation.

The Hatters are one point above the bottom three and are fighting relegation. Ten first-team players for Luton are also injured, and one of their coaches is also absent this week. The most recent player on the injured list, Chiedozie Ogbene, will not be traveling to north London.

Edwards stated: “It got so bad earlier in the week that Kev Foley had to train in the opposition, and he tweaked a hamstring as well, so I’m losing staff as well as players now!”

In the battle to stay in the top division, Edwards has also instructed his team to concentrate on their individual games. Everton may lose more points even after some were reversed, as Nottingham Forest has appealed their four-point deduction for violating the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Andros Townsend, a winger for the Hatters, called the scenario “nonsense” and “mockery” this week. Edwards, however, remarked, “We don’t give it much thought. He is aware that everyone, including those who don’t watch football very much, is talking about it.

“We only have control over what we can, which is attempting to obtain as many points as we can. If we are unable to do so, it makes little difference whether or not appeals and point reductions are granted.

“We are certainly implicated in this bizarre circumstance, but it’s hard to talk about because it’s not something that directly affects us. Keeping our composure, using all of our effort, and striving to earn the necessary points is the correct course of action. The exact number of points required will be unknown to us. The only thing we can hope to accomplish is to finish ahead of them.”
