After his team dominated and won Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals by a score of 33 points, head coach Jason Kidd of the Dallas Mavericks made fun of the Phoenix Suns.
Kidd noted in his press conference following the game that most analysts had predicted Phoenix would easily defeat Dallas in Game 7. In actuality, though, the Mavs emerged victorious, defeating the opposition 123-90 thanks to a brilliant performance from Luka Doncic.
“Many people predicted a blowout,” remarked Kidd. “Well, they were correct, but they didn’t have us winning.”
