Alabama football has re-signed all of the sacked players. On the opening day of the signing period, the Lions added 19 early signees to the 2024 class. This features thirteen incoming freshmen and six transfers. On January 5, UNA announced the transfer from UAB of Jackson Bratton, a former four-star linebacker prospect from Muscle Shoals. Later that day, two additional in-state freshmen signed: Jalin Edwards from Grissom High School and Ri Fletcher from Hartselle High School.

Fowler was added as a freshman on signing day, February 7. The Lions also announced five new transfers in January, including players from Florida Atlantic, Kansas, Lehigh, Tennessee State, and United Athletic Conference opponent Central Arkansas.

Of the 28 signees, 14 are from Alabama, with nine more coming from neighboring states: three from Tennessee, three from Florida, two from Georgia, and one from Mississippi. The Lions also signed a high school player from Louisiana and accepted transfers from New York, Texas, and Arkansas.

UNA’s most targeted position this period was defensive back, with eight signees. The “Purple Swarm” also had six defensive linemen and two linebackers. The class includes four running backs, five wide receivers, two offensive linemen, and a kicker.
