Due to his wife, A very loyal Gold Coast Titans player has announced his sudden retirement, sending a powerful statement and bidding the team and supporters
Ash Taylor, a playmaker for the Warriors, will soon announce his NRL retirement at the age of 27.
The Daily Telegraph claims that the former Titans millionaire player’s chronic hip problem has finally caught up to him and that the New Zealand team is preparing to learn of his decision to retire from the game.
Before the Warriors’ game against the Raiders, coach Nathan Brown of the Warriors told Fox League, “He’s definitely been struggling with his hips; he’s been through a number of meetings in the past few weeks.”
“Unfortunately, it appears that he has discovered the truth a little sooner than anyone could have predicted.”
Taylor had both of his hips repaired after the 2020 season, but he has supposedly played his final game and has been battling with the issue ever since.
Taylor defeated players like Latrell Mitchell and Nathan Cleary to win Dally M Rookie of the Year after playing 116 games, scoring 18 tries, and earning points.
Cooper Cronk, a Fox League analyst and former Storm halfback, congratulated Ash on his career.
He had 46 games and 45 try assists when he first entered the NRL. He excelled at the showy stuff. Ash Taylor deserves praise even though it slipped off the back in the end.
It’s a depressing way to go, not on your terms, Benji Marshall, another playwright, said.
“Congratulations to Ash! Playing in 116 NRL games is no easy feat. He did a good job of presenting himself.
When Taylor was twelve years old, the Broncos signed him. He only appeared in one game as a twenty-year-old until he joined the Gold Coast team in 2016.
He was given a three-year, million-dollar contract after his first two seasons as a Titan, making him one of the top paid players in the league.
Although Taylor never quite lived up to the expectations of being a million-dollar player, he was once hailed as the NRL’s next big thing.
