Don deal,After many years of waiting, the East Bengals have welcomed another key player that they have been waiting for so long.

The seasoned Harmanjot Singh Khabra, Edwin Sydney Vanspaul, and Mandar Rao Desai, who have together participated in 337 Hero Indian Super League (ISL) games, have joined Emami East Bengal FC on a free transfer. Vanspaul signs a two-year contract to join the Red & Gold brigade, while Khabra and Mandar will remain with the team through the end of the 2023–24 campaign.

Mr. Debabrata Mukherjee of Emami Group welcomed Mandar, Edwin, and Khabra to the Emami East Bengal family, saying, “Among the three of them, they have won every trophy that Indian football has to offer.” Their skill, adaptability, background, and winning attitude will strengthen and diversify our team.

Khel Now initially made known the specifics of Mandar’s relocation in April.

Cuadrat’s analysis of the augmentations
Carles Cuadrat, head coach of the Emami East Bengals, outlined how the squad will gain from the trio’s extensive experience. “We have an experienced player in Mandar who has captained his teams in the past and will be a great asset to our team,” he stated. Khabra is a highly skilled player. Above all, he is a fan favorite and someone who is familiar with the team. He will be one of my captains at Emami East Bengal, just like he was at Bengaluru FC. Vanspaul can play a variety of positions, which is his best strength. He plays football with great enthusiasm and constantly goes above and beyond for his team.

In 2020, left-back Mandar became the first player to appear in 100 Hero ISL games. He is hoping to be a key member of the Red & Golds’ comeback.

“I’m thrilled to be joining East Bengal. I want to contribute to the team in whatever way that is asked of me because it’s a new challenge for me. Coach Carles is a fantastic person and a skilled tactician. I’m happy to have another chance to play for him. The 31-year-old Mandar, who has won two League Winners’ Shields, a Hero ISL title, and a Hero ISL Winners’ Shield with FC Goa, said, “I can’t wait to wear the Red & Gold jersey and help the team win.”
