Due to a serious problem, the head coach of the Ipswhich Town has terminated his contract due to.
The 25-year-old winger’s loan at Oxford United ended earlier this week after he played there for the first half of the season.
After he had made an explosive start to his career at the U’s, a hamstring injury cut short his time there.
Before sustaining the hamstring injury during training at the end of September, he scored twice in four games.
After making a brief comeback for the games against Cheltenham Town and Bolton Wanderers at the end of November, Edwards will not be able to play again until the beginning of April due to a hamstring recurrence.

He will continue his rehabilitation at Oxford, and we’ll make sure we can work with him to get back to where he was and needs to be, according to Buckingham.
“We should get him back where he wanted to be while he’s getting his life moved here. He has a settled life now; the Ipswich are happy with it, and he’s happy with the rehab team we have here.”
The agreement, along with his Tractor Boys contract expiring, suggests Edwards may sign for the U’s as a free agent this season or during the summer.
