They have an extremely talented squad at their disposal, and in the coming months, there will undoubtedly be interest in some of their best players.
If they are promoted, though, Kieran McKenna’s team will probably have to make some roster adjustments. The planning phase could start in January, when players with less than six months left on their contract can start negotiating pre-contract offers with overseas teams.
Players are not permitted to pre-agree with a foreign team if they receive an offer from overseas, but they are permitted to do so if they receive an offer from another team in England due to FA regulations.
After being promoted, several players left the team in the summer, and considering the length of their contracts, expiries are approaching, and there might be a significant number next summer as well.
Having said that, we examine the Ipswich Town players whose contracts expire in the summer and who can reach a pre-contract agreement in January.
Although the former Manchester United player is still a very gifted player, his playing time with the Tractor Boys has been restricted because of Cameron Burgess and Luke Woolfenden’s outstanding play.
