Don’t deal. After waiting for many years, Swansea City has welcomed a Curial player.

Ronald, from Gremio Anapolis, has officially joined Swansea City for an undisclosed fee, pending international clearance and visa approval.

Inked a contract that runs through the summer of 2027 with a 12-month option, the 22-year-old has committed to the team.

Ronald, who will don the number 35 shirt, will give head coach Luke Williams more options in the closing third by bringing speed and athleticism. Gremio Anapolis had a contract with him that expired in 2026.

The forward made his senior debut in 2019 at the age of just 17, having begun his career with hometown team Corumbaense.

In 2021, he transferred to Atletico Goianiense. A year later, he was on loan at Gremio Anapolis, where he helped the team win the regional Campeonato Gaiano.

Ronald played for Guarani in his native country after his performances led to the loan being converted to a permanent transfer. He has now spent the last 18 months on loan at Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora.

Ronaldo has made 17 appearances in the top division so far this season after helping them win promotion to the Primeira Liga.

Yannick Bolasie has officially joined Swansea City on a short-term deal, pending EFL and international clearance.

The 34-year-old winger, who left Turkish club Caykur Rizespor at the end of the previous season as a free agent, joins to strengthen head coach Michael Duff’s forward options.

If the relevant football authorities give their approval, he is expected to play in Wednesday’s away match against Leeds United while donning the number 17 shirt for the Swans.

Bolasie, who was born in Lyon, played for Rushden & Diamonds, Hillingdon Borough, Floriana, a Maltese club, Plymouth Argyle, Barnet, and Bristol City before he had an incredible four years at Crystal Palace.

He was instrumental in the Eagles’ promotion to the Premier League during his tenure at Selhurst Park.
