Due to his wife, A very loyal New York Knicks player has announced his sudden retirement, sending a powerful statement and bidding the team and supporters
In a post on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Kendra Randle strongly pushed followers to vote for her to play in the NBA All-Star game in Indianapolis on February 18 in light of the Knicks star’s impressive season thus far.
She commented, “Go vote for this man!!” along with a Knicks post urging Randle to receive his third All-Star selection. Nobody is going to discuss how absurd it is that this is even a discussion. How he was able to achieve these numbers despite having ankle surgery only five months prior.
Kendra was referring to the June arthroscopic surgery that Randle had on his left ankle following a string of ankle problems sustained while playing towards the close of the previous season.
Despite a sluggish start to the season, the 6-foot-8 forward is producing noteworthy stats.
The 73rd NBA All-Star Game will take place in Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers.
Randle and Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson are considered for the 2024 All-Star team, but there are a lot of elite players in the East, including Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Jayson Tatum.
Brunson did not make last year’s All-Star teams and did not receive any midseason or postseason honors.
