Tragic news: this afternoon, we learned that the Kansas City Chiefs had optioned an all-time great for sale because of the money they had been handed.

L’Jarius Sneed, a cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs who is now on the organization’s franchise tag for the 2018 season, is hoping to win another Super Bowl with the squad.

Sneed now has the franchise tag on him, but the Chiefs are amenable to a trade or a long-term deal extension.

Sneed discussed the demands of having a newborn at home and the stress he is currently under in remarks to KMBC on Tuesday.

Yes, Sneed said, “my life is kind of enjoyable, but it is quite stressful right now, too.” At night, I can not sleep at all. I do not get enough sleep, I have a newborn, I have a child, and I have free will. Even though there is a lot going on, I process everything at once.

Together with Zarda Bar-B-Que, Sneed gave more than $17,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters, a local charity that helps underprivileged kids.

The Chiefs athlete and the neighborhood barbecue business partnered to sell the K-C Takeaway Bar-B-Que Sandwich, which helped raise the money.

Here, you can stay updated on every move and departure made by the Chiefs over the offseason.
