The news that one of the greatest Broncos players ever will have surgery on both legs is horrifying.

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado: Security Due to a sickness, Justin Simmons was unable to practice on Thursday as Denver got ready for their Week 17 matchup with the Chargers.

 

Six Broncos who are currently on the roster did not practice on Thursday, including Simmons. Prior to being put to the injury report on Thursday, the seasoned safety practiced on Wednesday.

 

The following players did not practice: tight end Chris Manhertz (NIR-rest), defensive tackle Mike Purcell (NIR-rest), wide receiver Courtland Sutton (concussion), outside linebacker Baron Browning (concussion), and running back Dwayne Washington (sickness). Washington, Browning, and Sutton did not practice on Wednesday either.

Greg Dulcich, the tight end who is still on injured reserve, was once more excluded from practice.

 

Marvin Mims Jr., a wide receiver, was added to the practice report as a limited participant due to a hamstring injury.

Reversing course In the meantime, Samaje Perine (NIR – rest) rejoined the practice as a full participant. Wednesday was not a practice day for him. Alex Palczewski, the tackle who is still on IR, participated fully once more.

 

After making his way back to practice on Wednesday, outside linebacker Nik Bonitto (knee) improved to a full participant on Thursday.
