Green Bay Packers have reportedly made an announcement about completing long-gone signed projects, and that alone makes their enemies faint, collapes of heart attack with immediate effect.

According to reports, the Green Bay Packers have declared that they will soon finish long-standing projects that would give their opponents heart attacks.

The running back position for the Green Bay Packers was very unsettled going into the offseason. It seems the front staff has made important choices regarding the team’s best running backs ahead of NFL free agency.

The NFL’s tampering period is about to begin, and running backs Emmanuel Wilson and A.J. Dillon are about to test the open market. If they lost both, the only player on Green Bay’s depth chart would be starter Aaron Jones, and even his future with the team was in doubt.

2024 cap space for the Green Bay Packers is $13.628 million.

Jones is projected to have the second-highest cap hit among running backs in 2024, going into his 29th season of play. Green Bay’s general team talked to Jones about taking a wage reduction because they wanted to recruit impact players via free agency. The Pro Bowl running back might not have agreed to it, though, so he could end up being one of the Packers’ cap casualties.

According to NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry, Jones will be retained by Green Bay through the 2024 season, which he learned about during the NFL Combine. The top rusher for the Packers won’t be playing for another team in 2024, though that might yet change depending on a renegotiated contract.

For Dillon, though, the same cannot be true. Due to his charisma and volunteerism, Dillon has become a fan favorite in Green Bay; yet, the Packers are anticipated to let him go this offseason. The Packers apparently want to re-sign Wilson and give him a bigger role next season, even if he’s leaving.

Jones’s lack of durability showed in 2023, as he only finished with 656 rushing yards in 11 games. The 5-foot-9 running back, though, was outstanding in the last moments. Jones averaged 5.68 yards per carry and 119.3 rushing yards per game in his final three regular-season games. He totaled 247 scrimmage yards and 3 touchdowns in two postseason games.
