Jim Irsay, the owner of the Colts, caused a stir on Twitter this week when he mentioned that NFL running backs are requesting modifications to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) in order to guarantee more equitable pay for elite rushers. He made the suggestion that some agents who are advocating for these changes might be doing so in “bad faith.”.

Jonathan Taylor’s agent quickly retaliated, dispelling any suggestion that they had acted in bad faith. Rather, the agent brought up the point that “bad faith is not paying your top offensive player,” suggesting that there may be unresolved issues with Taylor’s contract between the Colts organization and himself.
Taylor, who was born in Salem, New Jersey, on January 19, 1999, has had an incredible journey to become a professional athlete. Taylor’s accomplishments are astounding; in high school, he set a state record for rushing yards in New Jersey and became the first player in NCAA history to rush for more than 6,000 yards in three years. The young star has reportedly stated his desire for a trade during contract negotiations with the Colts, though, which has fans and experts wondering what the future holds for this exceptional player.
