The English Football Association has announced that Aston Villa forward Rachel Daly, who admitted to the charge of violent conduct against Ireland international Megan Connolly, has been suspended for three matches.

Late in the first half of Villa’s 2-2 Women’s Super League draw with the Robins at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on Saturday, the England international looked to have struck Bristol City captain Connolly in the face with her arm.
