The Florida Times-Union was given an arrest report by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, which states that on Monday afternoon, while the two were visiting, a woman got into a fight. She told the cops that Jones was not happy that she was returning their child to Orlando.

Jones joined the Jaguars in 2023 after achieving professional record-breaking reception yards and receptions. He has been sidelined since the Jaguars’ Oct. 8 game in London versus the Buffalo Bills due to a persistent knee issue.

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Zay Jones, real name Josiah Avery Jones, plays the position. He was selected by the Buffalo Bills out of East Carolina University in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. As stated A woman visited Jones’ San Pablo Road unit, according to the arrest report. She claimed that because Jones was taking their child back to Orlando, where she resides, she and Jones got into a fight.

According to the Sheriff’s Office report, the officer noticed little scratches on the woman’s neck that resembled fingernail marks.

Jones was placed under arrest just after 6 p.m. on Monday, with a $2,503 bail amount. On Tuesday, he was set free. Hank Coxe, a well-known Jacksonville lawyer, has been appointed by Jones to represent him.
