Made a brave save in the opening moments to throw himself at Ben Godfrey and more good stops, especially down at his near post just after the break, too. Commanded his area well with catches and punches.
Diogo Dalot – 5
Everton’s biggest threat came from Dwight McNeil on Diogo Dalot’s side, with the winger getting a lot of joy. Not the best afternoon for the United right-back.
An awful first half in which he gave the ball away in dangerous positions twice in the first five minutes alone and misplaced several more passes. Improved slightly in the second 45 with some good defensive work.
Kobbie Mainoo – 6
An understated display from United’s midfield starlet. Didn’t stand out in either direction but remains so assured for someone so young. Was lucky Lewis Dobbin’s cross wasn’t converted after losing him in the box, though.
