This might be good news,as Boston Celtics head coach received a message immediately after the match against Nuggets
Citing “violations of team policies,” the Boston Celtics banned head coach Ime Udoka for the 2022–2023 season on Thursday. ESPN first revealed last week that Udoka was having a consensual relationship with a female employee of the team. Udoka’s long-term future with the team will be decided “at a later date,” according to the Celtics. “To our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for putting the team in this difficult situation,” 45-year-old Udoka apologized in a statement.
stating that he agreed with the team’s choice. According to Bally Sports’ Brandon Robinson on Thursday, Udoka is thought to have broken up with actress Nia Long, his fiancée, “prior” to the news of their romance being public. The two have a 10-year-old kid together. As to ESPN, interim coach Joe Mazzulla, the assistant coach of the Boston Celtics, will take over.
