Just in: Rob Thomson shed tears ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ as he received a message concerning death of his key player while having a strong match
Long before pitcher David West went suddenly in May of last year, warning signs had been raised, but his death was nearly like the last straw.
He was the sixth former player for the Philadelphia Phillies to pass away from brain cancer, and the news spread across the country.
Not long after West’s passing, Dr. Marc Siegel stated on “Fox and Friends” that further study was necessary.
He declared, “It’s a cluster, and it needs to be examined.” There are roughly three fatal cases of brain cancer for every 100,000 people. This is at least three or four times larger.
That is precisely what the Philadelphia Inquirer accomplished on Tuesday in an investigative story headlined “Field of Dread.” Anyone interested in the in-depth analysis should check it out here since it is a great read.
Veterans Stadium’s turf field served as the focal point of the article. The Inquirer discovered fragments of the former grass and bought them online as trinkets. The turf samples were subsequently examined by two distinct labs at the newspaper’s request.
And in the artificial grass, which they claim was made by Monsanto, they discovered something ominous.
