Unexpectedly, the Jets cut Denzel Mims, a second-round pick, earlier in the offseason. As a result, they may now search for other players to fill the position. But it appeared that they had struck gold with undrafted rookie Jacob Brownlee, who has proven to be a standout during training camp and could end up on the roster.
