It’s Heartbreaking: A very loyal Red Bull Racing Driver has announced his sudden retirement, sending a powerful statement and bidding the team and supporters a heartfelt farewell.
According to reports, Max Verstappen may be able to leave Red Bull Racing with his wings due to the ongoing Christian Horner scandal.
According to The Telegraph, Verstappen’s father, Jos, informed friends that his son Max would quit the Formula 1-based team if Horner remained in charge. Verstappen is a three-time World Champion driver.
Following his clearance from an internal workplace misconduct investigation into “coercive behavior,” Horner, who has led Red Bull’s racing division since the company’s founding in 2005, had hundreds of text messages and images involving him and a female employee leaked.

It has been reported that last week, 79 screenshots of correspondence between Horner and the unnamed employee were sent to leaders in and around Formula 1.
Even though Horner says he “fully cooperated,” specifics about the contents are unknown.
Recently, Jos Verstappen demanded that Horner resign. Last week, the two allegedly got into a heated argument.
Following his son’s victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix, Jos had previously told the Daily Mail, “There is tension here while he (Horner) remains in position.” “There’s a chance this team could fall apart.” Things cannot continue as they are. It’s going to blow up. Even though he is the one creating the issues, he is acting the victim.
Due to his son’s success with Red Bull, Jos Verstappen refuted claims that he was involved in the email leak and had no desire to obstruct the process.

If Verstappen decided to race for Mercedes instead of Red Bull, that would be a double whammy.
The Telegraph reports that Jos Verstappen and Toto Wolff, the CEO of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team, were spotted together several times during last week’s season-opening race and lodged at the same hotel.
They are not concealing the courtship very well, if at all, if the talks are a flirtation that develops into a partnership.
Following Sunday’s race, Wolff played down, but he did not rule out, the idea of starting Max Verstappen in the starting lineup.
According to Wolff, “I believe the driver will always select the quickest car.” That is the main idea behind everything. Since the Red Bull is currently the fastest car, that will always take precedence in my book.
