The Kansas City Chiefs have officially signed another strong athlete who possesses a high level of sophistication.

Darius Harris, a linebacker waived by the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023, was signed by Kansas City.

On Tuesday, linebacker Darius Harris was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs to a contract.

After being cut by the Las Vegas Raiders in October of last year, Harris signed with the Chiefs again the following season and won a Super Bowl.

After playing with the Chiefs for the previous three seasons and winning two Super Bowls, Harris inked a contract with the Raiders in August of last year.

The 232-pound, 6-foot-2 linebacker did not play for Las Vegas.

The Chiefs claimed Harris off the Raiders practice squad on October 31.

He played in just 71 special teams snaps and none on defense during his five regular season appearances for Kansas City.

Harris was added to the active roster prior to the AFC Championship game and played in the game after being inactive for the Chiefs’ first two playoff games.

When Kansas City defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the big game earlier this month, he would win his third Super Bowl championship.

The 26-year-old Harris has returned to the Chiefs after agreeing to a contract on Tuesday.

In 2019, Kansas City signed him as a rookie undrafted free agent.

Harris was rehabilitating from a shoulder injury he sustained late in his Middle Tennessee college career, thus he missed his rookie season of play.

When the Chiefs defeated the 49ers in Super Bowl 54 of that same season, he would still win a Super Bowl ring.

Over the course of the following two seasons, Harris made 11 appearances, started two of them, totaled 15 tackles, and recovered a fumble.

In2022, he participated in all 17 games, started four of them, and recorded 43 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, one pass deflection, and one fumble recovery. It was his greatest season to date.

During that postseason run, Harris played in three games and won the second of his three Super Bowl rings.
